How to use Loderan Profit

Loderan Profit shows how much you really keep from each sale after marketplace fees, shipping, taxes and your costs. This guide explains every field and every result.

Quick start (2 minutes)

  1. Create a free account and confirm your email.
  2. Open the Calculator.
  3. Type the product name, what you paid for it (Product cost) and the price you will sell it for (Sale price).
  4. Choose where you sell in Fee source (for example eBay US). The official fees are applied automatically.
  5. Add your shipping and other costs. The result updates instantly: net profit, margin and ROI.
  6. Press Save calculation to keep it and see your totals at the top.

What each field means

Product
A name to recognize the item later (for example "Pokemon ETB").
Product cost
What you paid to acquire the item.
Sale price
The price the buyer pays for the item, before shipping.
Fee source
Where the marketplace fees come from: an official preset (kept up to date, with its source and date), one of your custom fee profiles, or manual entry.
Buyer sales tax %
Sales tax the marketplace collects from the buyer. It is not your money, but some marketplaces charge their fee on it, so it can lower your profit.
Shipping you pay
Label, packaging and postage you pay.
Shipping charged to buyer
What the buyer pays you for shipping (it counts as revenue).
Taxes you pay
Any tax you pay yourself, as a fixed amount or as a % of the sale price.
Other costs
Supplies, gas, storage, promotion… anything else that this sale costs you.

How to read the result

Net profit
What you keep: revenue minus fees, shipping, taxes, product cost and other costs. Green means profit, red means loss.
Margin
Net profit as a % of the sale price. It tells you how much of each dollar of sales you keep.
ROI
Net profit as a % of what you invested (product cost + your costs). It tells you how hard your money is working.
Total fees
Everything the marketplace charges, already calculated with the selected fees.
Minimum profitable price
Open "Target for minimum profitable price" to see the lowest sale price that reaches your target profit (or break-even).

Worked example

Product cost $40, sale price $69.99, eBay US (13.6% + $0.40 per order), shipping you pay $8, other costs $2.

Fees = 13.6% × $69.99 + $0.40 = $9.92. Net profit = $69.99 − $9.92 − $8 − $40 − $2 = $10.07 → margin 14.39%, ROI 23.98%.

Marketplace fees

Official presets show the date they were last verified and a link to the marketplace's official page. Some presets say "verification required": check them in your seller account before relying on them.

If your store has a different rate (store subscription, top-rated discount, category), create a custom fee profile in Settings → Fee profiles and pick it in Fee source.

Each saved calculation keeps a copy of the fees used, so old calculations do not change if fees change later.

Saving, editing and totals

Save calculation stores it in your current workspace. The cards at the top add up revenue, costs, net profit, margin and ROI of all saved calculations.

You can edit or delete any saved calculation. The Free plan keeps up to 25 calculations; Pro has no limit.

Workspaces

A workspace is a separate space with its own calculations and plan (for example one per store). Create and switch workspaces in Settings → Workspaces or with the selector at the top. Data is never shared between workspaces.

Export to CSV (Pro)

Download your saved calculations as a spreadsheet (CSV), including which fees were used. Available on the Pro plan.

Account security (two-factor authentication)

  1. Go to Settings → Two-factor authentication → Set up authenticator app.
  2. Scan the QR code with an app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy (or type the key and choose "Time-based").
  3. Type the 6-digit code (with or without the space) and confirm.
  4. Save your 10 recovery codes in a safe place. Each works once if you lose your phone.
  5. If codes are always rejected, turn on automatic date and time on your phone.

Plans, trial and cancellation

Free lets you use the calculator. Pro adds unlimited calculations, custom fee profiles and CSV export, with a free trial. Prices are always shown before you pay.

Payments are handled by Stripe; card numbers are never stored by us. Cancel anytime in Plan → Manage billing: you keep access until the end of the paid period.

Your data

Download a copy of your data or delete your account in Settings. Account deletion has a 30-day grace period and is then permanent.

Frequent questions

Is the result exact?
It is as exact as the inputs and fees. Promoted listings, international fees or special categories may change the real fee: use a custom fee profile for those.
Do I need to pay to try it?
No. The calculator is free.
